NOTICE: Canada's Coolest School Trip Contest Voting Reset

The My Parks Pass Team is thrilled about the overwhelming response to the contest and congratulates all 69 grade 8/Secondary 2 classes for their exceptional work. Due to the large number of votes, we have experienced a range of technical difficulties over the last week and have determined that the fairness of the voting process had potentially been compromised.

As a result, the contest partners have unanimously agreed to the following in order to ensure a fair vote and to honour the extraordinary work by the students.

We are adjusting the voting process and restarting the vote. The voting period will now be from February 14 to March 5, 5:00 pm ET (2:00 pm PT). It will now only be possible to submit one vote per person per video for the entire voting period.  In order to cast a vote under this revised process, voters will be required to provide their full name, postal code and email address. Only those who have submitted this information will have their votes added to the total number of votes per video. A registered voter may choose to cast a vote for more than one video, but not more than one vote per video for the entire voting period will be allowed.

We sincerely regret any inconvenience these technical difficulties have caused and wish to thank everyone for their understanding. We are confident that restarting the vote with a revised process will make this exciting contest a truly fair one.
