Free Admission to Parks Canada Places for Youth 17 and Under!

We are pleased to announce that free admission for youth has expanded!

For many years, free admission to Parks Canada places was offered to Grade 8/Secondary 2 students through the My Parks Pass program and also to children under 5 years old.

Now Parks Canada is inviting all youth 17 and under to visit our special places throughout the country for free!

We invite you and your youth groups to experience the outdoors and learn more about our country’s culture and history.

Parks Canada’s places are even more special when you book one of the hundreds of unique enhanced experiences that are on offer. Youth can dress up in authentic historic costumes, sleep overnight in a fort, listen to dark sky stories and go on wilderness adventures. With programs to fit all budgets, plenty of Parks Canada’s enhanced programming happens a stone’s throw away from the city.

Additionally, there are many environmental and historical heritage presentations programs on offer which are developed with provincial and territorial curricula in mind.

Please contact sites directly to learn about group reservations and any associated fees outside of free admission for youth.
