Olivia and her family bring you the Ultimate Family Adventure!

Olivia C., the winner of this year’s Ultimate Family Adventure contest, recently returned from her grand prize trip and wanted to tell you all about it. The trip, a 4-day whirlwind tour of Parks Canada places in Cape Breton, took place from July 19 - 22, and included tons of different activities!

How Will You Celebrate Parks?

Parks Day is a national celebration of Canada’s amazing natural and historic places from coast to coast to coast. It is held each year on the third Saturday of July – this year on July 20. Bring your family, bring your friends and enjoy all that Canada has to offer on Parks Day!

From Caronport to Cape Breton: Join the Adventure!

When they created their winning video entry of the students dreaming about a Fortress of Louisbourg field trip, Mrs. Pylatuk’s grade 8 class had no idea how wild the adventure would be. From a behind-the-scenes tour of Air Canada’s Pearson airport facility, to sleeping in the barracks at the Fortress of Louisbourg and hiking the Skyline Trail, the class has just returned home after a 4-day whirlwind tour of Parks Canada places in Cape Breton as part of Canada’s Coolest School Trip.
